Made in Spain

Spanish-made. Not an import with a new label.

Most eclipse glasses sold in Spain arrive by container and are resold under different names. Ours come from a Spanish factory that produces more than 500,000 units a day, and that changes three things that matter to you.

Quality you can verify

Every batch is identified and linked to its test report. Ask where your glasses come from and we can tell you.

Short lead times, no containers

No import delays and no last-minute stock-outs. Large and custom orders are made and delivered in weeks, not months.

Your purchase supports local industry

Spanish jobs, suppliers and businesses are behind every pair you buy.

Why it matters

What separates safe glasses from a copy.

Printing “ISO” and “CE” on a cardboard frame is easy. Passing the tests is not. These are the real differences.

Certification

Tested to the standards the EU requires.

Eclipse glasses are personal protective equipment. To be sold in the EU they need laboratory testing, not just a logo.

12312-2

EN ISO 12312-2:2015

The standard for filters used to look directly at the sun. The “-2” is what matters: other parts of the standard are not for solar viewing.

CE

CE marked as PPE

Compliant with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment, with EU type-examination by notified body [no. XXXX].

99.999%

Visible light filtered

Ultraviolet and infrared are blocked. Through the filter you see only the sun’s disc, sharp and orange.

Safe viewing

Four habits that protect your eyes.

Looking at the sun without a proper filter can permanently damage the retina, even if you feel no pain. Always follow this order.

Check the filter

No scratches, holes or loose parts. If it is damaged in any way, do not use it.

Put them on first

Glasses on, then look up. Never the other way round.

Take your time

You will see only the sun’s disc on a black background. Children should always be with an adult.

Look away to take them off

Look away from the sun, then remove the glasses. Never while looking up.

Calendar

Two more eclipses over Spain.

After the total eclipse of 2026, Spain gets two more eclipses within six months. The same glasses work for both.

How the Moon’s shadow will travel on 2 August 2027

The shadow enters over the Atlantic early in the morning, crosses the Strait of Gibraltar mid-morning and moves on towards Egypt and the Red Sea. The column on the right of the video shows how the sun will be covered from Madrid, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Melilla.

Total eclipse

Totality crosses the south

The path of totality crosses the far south of Andalusia, as well as Ceuta and Melilla. The rest of Spain sees a very deep partial eclipse in the middle of the morning.

Annular eclipse

The “ring of fire”

The Moon does not fully cover the Sun and leaves a bright ring. Certified glasses are needed for the whole event.

FAQ

Everything you need to know.

Where are your glasses made?

In Spain. We work directly with a Spanish manufacturer: no imports, no white labels. That lets us check quality batch by batch and deliver large orders quickly.

What certification do they have?

They meet EN ISO 12312-2:2015, the standard for filters used to look directly at the sun, and carry the CE marking under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment. You can view and download the documents on our certification page.

When is the next eclipse in Spain?

On 2 August 2027 there is a total solar eclipse whose path of totality crosses the far south of the peninsula. The rest of Spain will see a very deep partial eclipse. An annular eclipse follows on 26 January 2028.

Can I use regular sunglasses?

No. Even the darkest sunglasses, X-ray film or smoked glass do not protect your eyes from direct sunlight. Only glasses with an ISO 12312-2 solar filter are safe.

Can the glasses be reused?

Yes. Kept in their sleeve, somewhere dry, with no scratches or holes in the filter, they will work for both the 2027 and 2028 eclipses. Always check the filter before use.

How long does delivery take?

We pack orders the same day and deliver in 24–48 working hours across mainland Spain. Shipping costs €4.90 per order. For the Balearic or Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, get in touch.

I'm visiting Spain for the eclipse. Can you deliver to my hotel?

Yes. Enter your hotel or holiday rental as the delivery address and add your booking name. We recommend ordering at least a week before you arrive.

Do you make custom glasses with a logo?

Yes, for councils, schools, hotels, tour operators, businesses and media. Request a quote on our bulk page and we will reply within 24 hours with a design proposal.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. Enter your VAT or tax number at checkout and you will receive a full invoice.

… days to go

Have your glasses ready before eclipse day.

As an eclipse gets closer, certified glasses sell out in pharmacies and opticians. Order yours early and forget about it.
